At first I was a bit pissed off by Nintendo's "strategy" to hold back all of their top titles (Mario World in particular, that game was awesome). If you think about it though, a lot of people are downloading Sega and TG16 games they would have otherwise ignored completely. I mean, I have played them all because I owned them all, but a lot of other people have not. Everyone has played Mario World, Ocarina, Mario Kart, and Mario RPG, and everyone would be downloading those games instead of Gunstar Heroes, R-Type, Ecco, Golden Axe, Ice Hockey, Bonk, and other unnoticed gems.
Toejam and Earl, the first one, it is a weird game to watch someone else play, but playing it yourself, it can be a WHOLE lot of fun.
So far a lot of the VC game Nintendo has released do not interest me based solely on the fact that I have played all of them to death in the past few years via Animal Crossing (which can be played on Wii anyways). Sega's Sonic games I would download if I didn't already have them all on a Gamecube disk which I can play on Wii anyways.
Games like (Of course, leaving out the ones with GBA/DS improvements) Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Mario World, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, Kirby Superstar, Harvest Moon (the original SNES one is still the best I have played), Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Final Fantasy (notice how I don't consider the GBA version an improvement), Faxanadu, Castlevania III, etc... These games I will buy anyways no matter when they are released =)
