At first I was a bit pissed off by Nintendo's "strategy" to hold back all of their top titles (Mario World in particular, that game was awesome). If you think about it though, a lot of people are downloading Sega and TG16 games they would have otherwise ignored completely. I mean, I have played them all because I owned them all, but a lot of other people have not. Everyone has played Mario World, Ocarina, Mario Kart, and Mario RPG, and everyone would be downloading those games instead of Gunstar Heroes, R-Type, Ecco, Golden Axe, Ice Hockey, Bonk, and other unnoticed gems.

Toejam and Earl, the first one, it is a weird game to watch someone else play, but playing it yourself, it can be a WHOLE lot of fun.

So far a lot of the VC game Nintendo has released do not interest me based solely on the fact that I have played all of them to death in the past few years via Animal Crossing (which can be played on Wii anyways). Sega's Sonic games I would download if I didn't already have them all on a Gamecube disk which I can play on Wii anyways.

Games like (Of course, leaving out the ones with GBA/DS improvements) Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Mario World, Terranigma, Illusion of Gaia, Kirby Superstar, Harvest Moon (the original SNES one is still the best I have played), Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Final Fantasy (notice how I don't consider the GBA version an improvement), Faxanadu, Castlevania III, etc... These games I will buy anyways no matter when they are released =)

Played a lot of Wii Sports, surfed the net for a short time, bought Ice Hockey, R-Type, and Super Castlevania (had to run and get a classic controller, Gamecube controllers do not work for anything except Gamecube games). Ice Hockey is quite popular (**** Blades of Steel), funny thing, it is the cheapest, simplest, and oldest of the downloaded games, and the next most popular title to Wii Sports (among the people playing the system). I turned on Zelda, I plan to play a few hours of it tonight.

Then mine must be broken cuz my GC controllers work for my VC games. :) My friend and I were playing Gunstar Heroes 2-player on Saturday for an hour.

Oddly, Metal Slug Anthology won't accept the VC controller, only the Wiimote and the 'Cube controller. Very odd

In the past 24 hours I think I have played more videogames than I have since Skies of Arcadia and Grandia 2 were new to Dreamcast.... And I had Mono then, so I wasn't doing anything else in life really.

It's a lot of fun.

On the classic controller. it's an alright controller, but I do feel an updated N64 model would have been more suitable. The Wiimorte itself, excellent controller, very easy to use and always the preferred method of control for the VC on the games it is available for.

My birthday will be interesting (coming up in 2 and a half months), I forsee several Wii points cards as gifts.

I am writing this from the Wii, It certainly is a little akward but a lot better than Cell phones or Sega Dreamcast. The weather station I am finding is actually quite well done, you click in and it loads up with local forcast instantaneously. Of course, if you are interested, you can go in and get more detailed forecasts for your city or any other place in the world which has a center.

I enjoy the Forecast Channel. The weather isn't always accurate (though is it even on weather.com? :) )

I can't wait to see what improvements are made for the final release version of the Opera browser.

I don't know the rhyme or reason associated with the mii parade, but I have 38 miis on it. I'm not sure how many are yours, because it does not display the author for those guys. I wish there were more miis on it though...... M'k'n'zy needs to add me!!!!!!!!

If you liked Ocarina, get Twilight. It's like Ocarina on steroids.

Now you'll just have to convince Sine to play it with you to justify the cost :-)

Its not really the cost..we still have so many PS2 games to play. We havent fined our home theater room, or started playing FFXII, which Im waiting for the theater to be finished before I start that game. Too many games, so little time ;)

I'm bored, so time for some lame smart-ass remarks (no offense intended):

1) You're married, aren't you? You should already have one at your disposal unless there's something we don't know :-)

2) Biologically-speaking, you should. It's good that you've come to accept this natural urge rather than suppressing it like society tries to force upon women due to archaic religious beliefs

3) Although I do understand it's more difficult for you women, it shouldn't THAT hard to find a toilet

4) If ya gotta go, ya gotta go. You don't have to ask for permission, this isn't jail

5) I think it's more about "need" rather than "want". To avoid confusion, replace "wanna" with "gotta"

I got mine by pure luck. I was quite pleased by that. I am really liking it so far. Zelda is a really good game, but it might sound silly that I actually miss the cartoony Wind Waker graphics, I know it doesn't make much sense for this game; it is quite dark.

Does anyone get the feeling that Gerudo Desert and the lands of FF12's Dalmasca are the same place?

OK, I am finding a lot of interesting Mii's, so far I have seen Borat, Mr T, two versions of Hitler, three versions of Jesus, Gabe, Tycho, and the Mario Brothers.
