So, why the hell weren't we told about this? I walked by my Wii and it's glowing. Usually means I got a message or an update or something. I look around and finally make my way to the Wii Shop channel. I usually don't go there since I own any of the decent VC games already but I'm hoping there's FINALLY an update to the Internet Channel. Instead, there's a new channel called the Everyone Votes Channel.
Basically what it is is a very basic poll channel. You choose your region but can also go for worldwide polls. These are insanely basic polls such as "What do you think is a more romantic Valentine's Day gift, chocolate or roses?". So it's just a gimmick now but if used properly it can be great.
Not that Nintendo has every been known to do well in its non-gaming experiments, but they've done well with the channels so far, so here's a hope from me.

I was there on that fateful day, were you?
