Americans can blame themselves for this one, they're the ones who said Canada's border policies were too weak.
The funny thing is that I doubt the people responsible for the WTC attacks had a criminal record. Were they not very religious?
The pot laws throughout Canada (not just BC) are a lot looser than the US - that's not the issue. It's the US putting a great deal of pressure on Canada because they say a great deal of pot comes in through our borders - trust me, I've been listening to it for years now. Does it? Probably. I guess a drug conviction is as good a red flag as any. Blame your own government for these changes.Nev wrote:Yeah, I'm with Lox.
Obviously your country can turn down anyone it wants to, but turning people down for minor DUI or pot convictions doesn't seem to make much sense, particularly when from what I've heard, large parts of Vancouver still operate under a heavy cloud of green smoke on a pretty regular basis...
I'm not mad about it, it just seems stupid to me.
Just so you know, I try to, as often as possible.kali o. wrote:The pot laws throughout Canada (not just BC) are a lot looser than the US - that's not the issue.
