How many of you guys are watching this weekly? No one here seems to talk about it anymore and I'm curious if the show lost a lot of fans during the ridiculously long filler.

I like the new series but it's moving at a snail's pace. And with all these breaks inbetween eps (there isn't one this week), it's slowing it down even more.

I like what I see I just want to see more if it and not have it drag as much. It's almost like filler within the manga.

That's because it was filler to begin with even in the manga.

? My cuz tells me there's a lot of stuff added to the anime that's not in the manga that's dragging it out.

SPOILER

Doesn't Gaara get captured after two chapters in the manga?

Sure but nothing really important happens in the whole rescue Garaa thing to begin with that it might as well be filler to begin with. You can always add even more filler but it doesn't change the fact that nothing of importance ever happened in the first place. Most of this stuff is just fighting for the sake of fighting.

I watch every episode as soon as I am able, and I am really enjoying it. It is going at a slow pace, but I think they just dont want to get into the position they got into before again.

Don, I swear I will stab you in the eye for being negative.

To answer your question Zeusy, they're prob taking it this slow intentionally as to avoid another 100 episode+ filler fest again.

Yes, Garaa's fight lasted all 2 chapters in the manga, in the anime it lasts longer, same with Naruto/Sakura vs Kakashi, and the entire little conversation he's having with Iruka is being drawn out a bit too.

Stab you in the eye, huh? :D

How far along are they now? And they still have the Kakashi Gaiden 4-6 eps to show us as well. You're talking a year from now. I'll take 15 filler eps then not to drag it out now.

They're simply trying to buy themselves time 'cause they know everyone will still watch and wait impatiently for the eps. Heck, they even have taken 2 weeks off in the first 6 weeks and they can do that every 6 weeks to slow themselves down.

What they're doin' now is not a solution
