So i re-signed up for Netflix and got the first CD of Champloo. I watched the first few eps and it has started off well. What bothers me, though, is the voice of the main character, Moogin, since its the same guy who was Spike for Cowboy Bebop. I think the voice of the mayor, who died, was also the same guy who did Jet in Bebop, lol, its disorienting.

One reason i went back to Netflix is their awesome Watch Now addition. I have my laptop hooked up to my TV so being able to stream movies is great. They dont have a ton of selection right now, but its free and doesnt mess up your Queue, so totally worth it. The deal is, you are allowed 1 hour per $1 of your subscription. Since i do the $17.99 three movies at a time, i get 18 hours of Watch Now a month. Plenty of time. I tried it out with Ninja Scroll the movie and you couldnt even tell it was streaming video, very smooth. NS was ok, i dont think i'll watch the anime, though.

shit man...I totally forgot about Watch Now-- they really don't advertise it at all for customers.

Samurai Champloo is awesome, and if you're going to be watching dubbed anime get used to hearing the same voice actor often. I don't consider it a bad thing, I think the ones who do it a lot are stellar actors and I've rarely been bothered by them being a character in another anime.
