"Demurring" is the gerund of "demur", which means something like "drop opposition to", with the connotation that it's a relatively benign disagreement (e.g., "Stephen responded that his father was not indeed a cheese salesman, and Linda demurred.") And that's "epaulet", not "equalet", which means a military shoulder ornament used to denote rank ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epaulette ).

According to that article, a lot of those words aren't random - they're probably words calculated to sound high-toned or unlike spam. "Lemma" seems a bit hard to fit into a porn-related context, for instance. So does "celandine".
