The 60g ps3 is out of stock at the sony online store, although available at regular retailers. They aren't going to be restocking these when they're gone... so if you value your ps2 backwards compatibility, I suggest you hop on the ps3 bandwagon while the gettings are good. Ratchet and Clank for all the sineswipers out there, it's not out yet, but it's coming. I doubled my ps3 game collection on monday night when warhawk hit the PSN.... two games now..... I'm practically rolling in games now, if you count one physical game and one embedded in my HDD as something to be able to roll in.

As an interesting PS., it has some nice texture smoothing agents for the ps2 games, but you must still live with the jaggies... and no rumble in the controller makes for something missing when you boot up your old games. My ps2 was unable to play the blueback discs (the regular CDs), but now it plays them just fine.... gotta find me a copy of Ico now.
