Very good, thank you. I see no reason to play a game I don't enjoy just because everyone else does!
And you're right, I've never sit down and given Halo a "real" shot. Why? For the same reason that I don't give thousands of other games a "real" shot. I try them for half an hour, or play with friends (which I've done with Halo), and decide I don't like them and would rather play something else!
I am not going to play Halo because everyone else thinks it's cool. Sorry! And I'll send in my 360 when I feel like it or not at all, by the way, so keep the word "lazy" out of your mouth. Or is it your 360 and not mine all of a sudden?
Personally, I don't even really like FPS gameplay, but I'll go play something I like if I'm going to. The only thing that makes me despair is that I can't get a good game of anything else going at my local game store because everyone is playing Halo! But that's my problem, so to speak, and I'll deal with it.
By the way, not that I put a lot of stock in what others say - but you do, so you can know that Matt Boyd just posted something at Three Panel Soul (the successor to Mac Hall) about how "weird" Halo 3 is as a gaming experience because it "evokes no emotions at all". I don't care, but you apparently decide how cool something is based on how many people like it or dislike it, so you can think about that one for awhile.
EDIT: I swear to God, Tess, I must have stuck a bug up your ass somehow back when I dissed you a few weeks ago. It seems like every other post you write in threads I'm involved in is calling me out in some way or another. I didn't say a damn word to you here and don't particularly enjoy wasting my time arguing with you, so how can we resolve this to the point where you're not gunning for me anymore? I really think I must have damaged your self-esteem somehow, so tell me how we can patch this up so we're not sniping at each other anymore.
