I heard people talking about this last night, though, if you think about it, she's one of the few people involved with Pro-wrestling that has actually died of old age (I think Freddie Blassie was the last, and that was years ago). Though yeah, behind the scenes I know she was one of the leadership figures, and I would say this is a huge loss. I do wonder how Mae Young is feeling about this? The two of them were best friends for like 60 years, and in the WWE family for about as long as the current Vince McMahon has been alive.

I loved how they brought her and Mae Young back into the storylines in the 90s.

Like Seek said, at least for her it was of old age. Seems to be quite rare in the industry

Yeah, sad to see her go, but she seemed to have lived a full and happy life.

She's a wrestler who lived to see her 50s (and beyond). That's pretty good
