Rock Band delayed in Canada until Dec 17

According to Chris Kohler. I haven't seen this posted on Kotaku or picked up by the big three, but I believe it. I thought Blockbuster was shitting me when they told me they wouldn't have it until Dec 18.

Actually the prices have been lowered here. So technically things are cheaper for us now when considering that we're not getting paid any less on our salaries now =)

Plus it just feels better to pay for things in Canadian dollars rather than American pesos =)

Rock Band is good...real good. I also suck at the drums. I can hold my own on medium on the lower difficulties, but it's pretty sad. haha I love the new guitar also. The silent strum bar alone makes it my favorite. I didn't have a problem adjusting to the new fret buttons at all. Though I will need some time to get used to using the solo buttons.

So far, awesome game. I even got my wife playing drums while I did vocals.

I've got a bud of mine on guitar, me on drums (I loved Taiko Drum Master), and another on vocals. I think, like a real band, we're just gonna have a rotating bassist, my wife being one of them.

So Lox, what are the hardest songs in the game? Does each tier escalate in difficulty like GH?

lox, how are your instruments holding up? if anyone has their internet head in an internet hole, rock band instruments are apparently prone to exploding in your hands and killing your family.

I don't get it. There's no translation or L10n issues, so why does Canada have to wait to get it? Just ship it at the same date as everybody else.

I have not had any issues with my instruments. But a coworker of a friend has the issue with the Fender where the downstrum won't register all the time. But Harmonix will ship you a brand new guitar for free immediately so they're at least handling the issue.

As for the hardest songs in the game...I have to play more. I've been doing mostly World Tour and you play a lot of the same songs in the beginning as you're "just starting out". I have to play more of the solo tour to unlock them. Obviously, the 3 Metallica DLC songs are ridiculous, especially on drums. I'll let you know once I play more of the stock songs.
