yeah I thought that too. I almst exclusively play with my nerd buddies in full groups so we don't have to have any fucktards on our teams. both fea and bovine joined us a few times too. good group that actually maes it fun. and the MP gets much better once you kill enough. mp5 with increased bullet damage is a tankTessian wrote:To answer Bovine's request in another thread:
I am just getting started on MP today (well hell, I only opened it this afternoon). I'm level 4 currently but very pissed at the matchmaking. I am FAR from the only person who got this on christmas, so how come every game I play is with mostly level 40+? I want to play with other noobs damnit, it's not that hard! Blizzard did it years ago on battle.net, you can do it here.
Yep, no multiplayer achievements. It's madness. (See posts earlier in the thread for more complaints!)Tessian wrote:I just noticed... but maybe I'm crazy... CoD4 has NO multiplayer achievements? They all seem to be campaign based.
No, it's brilliance. Activision actually thought "achievements are important and sell games and at least half of the 360 owning population doesn't play online (only 7 of 11 or so million are even connected to Live) so why leave those people in the dust?" and made the adjustment.Andrew, Killer Bee wrote:Yep, no multiplayer achievements. They could have put in SOME multiplayer achievements... just a few. Like "Hey you aren't a recruit anymore" and "You dropped 4 guys with a grenade" fun ones like that. I do agree with that. Take away the "expert" difficulty ones and reward some online play. Maybe 200 (MAX) of the 1000 points. But not like the Gears ones where it's something like 400 of the 1000 AND ranked only. That's pretty ridiculous.Tessian wrote:They could have put in SOME multiplayer achievements... just a few. It is ridiculous. The only reason I started playing the campaign was because I was sick of seeing COD 4 with 0 points beside it on my games list. I've put days into that game! I deserve something!Zeus wrote:I do agree with that. Take away the "expert" difficulty ones and reward some online play. Maybe 200 (MAX) of the 1000 points.
