Brought to you by the makers of Date Movie and Epic Movie.
...because people enjoy their movies? Both movies were pretty decent if I remember right.

And BAD eric! Never post myspace links! That's just rude and insulting and inconsiderate to those of us who'd prefer to avoid that filth of a site.

It disgusts me these movies make money, because they're literally not funny, on any level, and not even in a Critics didn't find them funny sort of way while they had a nice charm to them funny, I mean they're downright stupid. -_-

This trailer totally contains buckets full of fail. The next Hellboy movies would be something to look forward to, however.

$10-30M budget on brainless comedies or slasher flicks in today's market are almost guaranteed to make money, if not in theatres then definitely on DVD. Why do you think you see so many of them every month, many of which are direct to DVD?

You have an entire generation of moviegoers who made drudge like ID4 and Godzilla huge hits, why does this surprise you?

Because these are the first two movies I actually watched that I felt blatantly insulted my intelligence. Not that subtle "You must think I'm an idiot...." I'm mean just downright "Lol, fucking retard, enjoy this stupid movie lawls."

What movie is ID4? And when was Godzilla a huge hit? I pray you're not talking about the American one shot with John Cusack in a perpetually raining and dark New York City? That was total shit and I never saw a sequel come about even though they wrote it in at the end.

Welcome to Erf.
Independence Day? The movie that made Will Smith a star? Haha well granted I'll admit it was brainless and stupid... but can someone remind me wtf the 4 comes from? And don't you dare say July 4th.

Fuck you all, I loved Independence Day. It's stupid and fun and action-packed and funny and Jeff Goldblum is in it and he rocks with a Mac and you all just shut up right now and everything like that because you SUCK! You SUCK and Baby Jesus hates you!

*sniffle*

I'm not crying!

Don't judge me!

I'm just glad the movie came out so long ago that I was too young to be insulted by it. I mean comeon-- Jeff Goldblum saves the world by developing a computer virus in, what, a few days for a totally alien network that he had almost no experience with or understanding of? Unless by some off chance they were running their motherships on Windows 98 that is just stupid.

My favourite part was Pullman as the president leading the charge in fighter jets against a ridiculously large alien ship and delivering the final blow against a highly exposed, unprotected, ridiculously easy-to-find-and-see weakpoint. WOW that reeked, I almost left the theatre the stench was so bad

My point again: you have an entire generation of kids now growing up with nearly every "big" film being complete and utter shit, particularly in the last couple of years. With such low expectations it's easy to make a very cheap film and get enough people to watch it so you make a small profit. Low risk and low rewards. Do enough volume and you can make decent money.

Sorry, just reminded me of Never Gonna Come Back Down. Listen to it when you get the chance. It's a good song, and Doughty's ranting is fucking funny.
