Well, the only time another hot chick is in the movie is if the other one is the bad guy or dies. With a name like Christmas, you know it's there for an ending joke. (I thought Christmas only came once a year.)

I am not exactly sure how you're going to justify this. Gambling, hot chicks, gadgets, insane action, a villain with an oddity about him, conspiracy, one liners, based on an original book, and more. Saying a Bond movie is too intense is like saying a Schwartzenegger action flick has too many explosions. Bond films are SUPPOSED to be intense, that is one of the main parts of the classic formula. What Casino Royale did is return to the classic Bond formula established in the movie From Russia With Love.
