<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>That's probably 'cause they won't let her go any other way. Besides, she barely has any mental capacity at all left, it's like leaving the body alive while the brain is basically dead...</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>Are people like this who are already braindead spiritless already? She doesn't even have a heartbeat (or at least they said that her heart had stopped). If that's the case, there would really be no point to keeping her alive.

Really, there's no logical reason to keep her alive, either. She cannot function in any capacity in society, so there's no point. I really hate it when people cling to beliefs that make no sense. It's not "murder" in any sense of the word. It's somebody who is being released. With the people that Kevorkian youthasied (sp!), they could still function for a time, but she doesn't even have that.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>As I understand it, yes, it's the only legal way to do it. The AMA forbids doctors from aiding in killing a patient, but allows a doctor to stand by while a "natural" death process occurrs.</div>

<div style='font: 10pt georgia; text-align: left; '>She had a heart attack and had severe brain damage due to it. Apparently she has no cerebral cortex(the part of the brain that separates us from the animals and makes us human), she still has the survival part of her brain(the part that tells her body to breate, pump blood, etc). They want to just remove her feeding tube and let her starve and dehydrate to death. Thats plain wrong. Yes, if I was in her position Id want to die, but not like that. But that goes into a whole argument of humane euthanasia.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I'm not going to get into the issue of whether it's humane or not to take out the feeding tube. I do find it scary however that the government is stepping in like this.</div>
