How many of you have ummm enraged, I guess that's the best term for it. That no words came through, ummm you...pissed her off so much, that no matter what you say, results in an attack back on you, and not just a normal attack, noooo, how to put it...That umm, there was a barrage of swearing, cursing, hate, and maybe a "fuck your mother" thrown in there(Yes, Dane Cook was not off with that one), things might have gotten thrown, sharp pointy objects might have been drawn in the most extreme cases.

I was just curious how many of us have maybe experienced this in our lives. I've experienced this twice in my life.

Once was my fault, when I was younger.

The second time wasn't my fault, in fact it was a misunderstanding in which she shouldn't have been mad in the first place , but because of the female rage, I couldn't get a word in edge-wise, and explaining only infuriated her further. 5th hand information is a bitch. >_>

So anyway, I was just wondering how many of you have experienced the dreaded female rage.

I often refer to my ex as having an anger range from 15-20 (if a normal person's is 1-10), but all this means is I get screamed at for the stupidest shit (and I finally yelled at her for this on Sunday and I think she's finally going to back off) and nothing worthy of being yelled at. I'm too fucking nice, even when she's a bitch, so I've not experienced close to what you explain. My best reference is what you're talking about from the dane cook skit So I've gotten plenty of "female rage" but not near the level you're talking thank god.

See I actually agree with that, when it happened to me the 2nd time(different girl), even though I wasn't at fault and we resolved it, and we both still liked each other, there was no way I could visualize her without having flashbacks to her acting like a pshcyo. My line of thinking then was, "Not all women are like this, there's no reason to stick around with somebody who has the capability of acting like this."

But I've seen it again tonight with my buddy, and we all got caught up in it as well, "YOU ALL KNEW HE WAS FUCKIN AROUND DIDN'T YOU! %!@%!%!!%!@".

So my line of thinking changed from, was it just the 2 girls I dated, and my friend's wife? Or is it something all women are capable of acting like? So I'm just curious if the rest of you have had similar experiences.

I did that to my wife a couple of times back in the first few years of our dating (we got married after 5 years of dating, an almost unheard of length of time nowadays). She actually got so pissed at me the one time that she tore my sweater while tugging at it. The few times I've been driven to fury (I'm an extremely patient person) I just left the house for a few hours and drove around to cool off.

There have been many other fights and stupid shit said like there would be in any other relationship, but those usually are forgotten after some cool-off time.

I'm a fairly unemotional person..my parents fought all the time when I was a kid, so I think that's why I avoid it so much as an adult.

Also, we're talking about different continents, not sure what the norm is down there. But up here you ALWAYS here about people getting married or VERY serious (same shit to me) after only a few months

Engaged exactly 10 months after we met: Oct 9 or 10, 2001. Ended up with the same job at the same company in Nov 2001, so marriage was delayed until I moved to a different building (same company). Got married on Nov 2006.

We've yelled about money and various stupid shit before. Yes, I'm the hot-head in the family, though I've learned to control it better over the years. (Got it from my mother, but my dad gave me the "banging-on-the-wall" shit. Had to re-install a fire detector and replace drywall from our apt, after busting it out from one wall.)

Haven't really had any episodes like that in a long while, to be honest.

My ex liked to pick fights and start arguments especially about Americans and the generalization "we" would make about "other" people. She always said it helped her get to know me better, but if she knew me at all she would have figured out that patronizing me because I didn't have the same opportunities extended to her when I was younger isn't the way to talk to someone. Some arguments were just painful and I attempted to avoid her at all costs, others led to really great sex afterwards, but in each of these arguments I could see the two completely different worlds we were both from and as many bridges I would try to create to find some common ground she liked to shatter and destroy by talking about the American ego or how we don't argue enough. Why the FUCK do we have to argue? I think a life without conflict wouldn't be boring at all.

We got into a couple heated debates that involved more my friends and family and her inability to take jokes or take light what other people said. She took a lot of things personally that I had learned to let roll off my shoulder.

I met my wife in uni as well. Third year for me, first for her. We got engaged 3 1/2 years afterwards and married 5 years afterwards. This June is actually our 5th wedding anniversary (14th).
