I hate 'em. They take up too much space; single sentence replies can take up half a page, and intrude on the flow of conversations. I'd love to disable them. How does everyone else feel?
I was just lazy about formatting it correctly.SineSwiper wrote:Funny, I was just about to bitch about Seeker's large sig, and suddenly it's half the size. I wonder why...
No, I've looked into it. Our version of phpBB (2.something) doesn't have that functionality, and I'm not even sure if version 3 does - and if I was Sine, I'd be wary of upgrading. Disabling sigs is a board-wide operation.Lox wrote:I don't mind them really, to be honest.
Sine, is it possible to disable them on a per user basis? Or even better, on a per user basis, disable them only for certain other users (using a list of names or something)?
Please make sure you bring over the following:SineSwiper wrote: Also, I would probably want to tackle some of the other features that I've been meaning to port over from RPGBoard. (I still have the list.)

PHPBB may be crappy to admin and manage, but it's a solid format that works well and presents content in an easily readable manner. Oh, and no more fucking "-NT" posts... god those were annoying.
