The Other Worlds Shrine

Your place for discussion about RPGs, gaming, music, movies, anime, computers, sports, and any other stuff we care to talk about...

  • 2nd weirdest game concept ever featuring cute anime girls

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

The first is obviously the witch touching game, but this is pretty weird

Apparently as your girl of mass destruction take damage their clothing gets blown off. To top it off SystemSoft makes some pretty respectable hardcore strategy games so the underlying engine for combat is probably pretty solid.

Hot women in skimpy uniforms fighting battles using strip poker rules? How can this NOT make millions??

What could it possibly be saying in that middle box?

"This are boobs. These boobs are designed for strength. For great justice. Stupid Americans can't read Japanese!"

Well the link is broken (I guess magic box doesn't allow links like that) but what you're pointing at is 'displacement' (I think, it's what they measure how heavy a ship is), says this is one of the biggest aircraft carrier in its era by displacement.

Last image on last page, middle box. So, her boobs are a "displacement"?

Every girl in that game is a weapon of war personfied. The girl you're looking at is the carrier Akagi. It's like the neck is the bridge, the weird wing like thing she's wearing is the carrier flight deck, and breasts are the displacement. I'm sure it's intentional that they mention this is one of the largest carrier by displacement in WW2.

There's obviously a Yamato out of the Japanese side too, and I'd think the German side should have a Panther and a Tiger.

People speak of ships as 'she'. The game obviously takes that a step further.

God, I do love the Japanese and their whacky repressed sexuality!

Still waiting for the live eel anal insertion simulator. :D

Or just ask around. A few people here might remember me. B)

Speaking of which, my joined date is off by two years. I guess I can probably change that myself...

Nah, I had to edit the database to do that. What proof do you have that you were here in 1999? :)

No proof that I know of, just working back from memory. I know I was here before 2000, because I made it a point to not read or post here my second semester of college. (Spring 2000; worked like crazy that semester; brought a physics grade up from a D- to an A-, among other things.)
