Sony announced over 5 million units of PlayStation 3 were sold in Europe since launch, and the PS3 sales has surpassed Xbox 360 in Europe. Total sales of PS2 has also passed 48 million units in Europe.

I guess I'm the only one who cares other than Seek, then. The business aspects of the industry are more interesting than the majority of the games. Following the trends also gives you a good idea of where the industry is headed. Considering it's still very much a growing and changing industry it's interesting to see it change. Look at the last 10 years, things have changed HUGE from the previous 10 years

This is actually true, I generally like to have somebody else posting sales figures to save me the trouble of wasting five seconds doing it myself.
