Capcom's Clover Studios is now Sega's Platinum Games

And they have three new franchises coming out: MadWorld for the Wii which is a game that seems highly influenced by Sin City in the art department and can be described as "ultraviolent". There is Bayonetta for the PS3 which is a game about witch with guns on her hands and feet, and then the science fiction title Infinite Line for DS (seems to take place in Space with a highly customizable ship and crew).

Madworld looks pretty fucking sick. Haven't heard of these other titles though.

It could be quite cool, it art style looks wicked, and I think with the resume these guys have we can count on good gameplay as well.

They took a few shots at Capcom recently saying that they would still be at Capcom today if they were satisfied making sequels; that they would prefer to make original franchises. That Capcom told them that they have to make solid games that will sell in the west. They agreed, and they also said that the reason why Sega signed them is that they are able to make solid games that will sell in the West, and that they expect that Sega will do their job and ensure that the games sell well over here in the west.

Their first release is the ultraviolent MadWorld, fun for the whole family.

Really, they should just go to the press conference, give Capcom the finger, tell them to go fuck themselves, and leave. At this point, they deserve that much, and nobody would think them bad for doing so.

What Capcom did to Clover after creating good games (firing everybody and killing the company), and then the abortion of justice they did with Okami for the Wii is completely unforgivable.
