CORRECT! On both counts! (Actually, the DMC4 news was announced on Mar 21 '07.)

That has to be the dumbest reason I've ever heard for not being excited about a game. The development team turned you off? What the fuck. NOT EVEN CLOSE! PSP, though with a slow start, actually has a sizable collection of games. The N-Gage? DEAD DEAD DEAD!

I predict [WoW will pull] 400-500K range for opening in NA, and 1 million in Korea (because it's Korea). While that sounds like a lot, EQ2 pulled in around 200K on opening. Anything less than 400K domestic, WoW will be in trouble against EQ2 in the long run.

CLOSE! Try 250,000 in less than 24 hours, and 350,000 on that Thankgiving Weekend. That's 600K! And it was 700K in Korea. EQ2?! WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!

WRONG! ESPN NFL 2K5 still made a respectable 3.45m in copies, to Madden 2005's 6.16m (and that's including Madden's DS version).

I predict that, should we humans manage to keep from blowing up the world, there will one day be games graphically and gameplay-wise good enough that there will be public playthroughs of games that are pay-to-attend events...like movies...but there will be a new class of artists who are sort of like professional game players, whose job it is to provide a visually exciting spectacle for the players by playing so "well" or interestingly that they can provide a new experience for the watchers each time.

CRAZY! But true. Actually, this isn't a prediction, considering that already happens!

Speaking of Final Fantasy 3 DS, word is out that the game is significantly more difficult than the simplistic SNES/PSX FF titles that most are used to. This was the most difficult game in the series afterall. I predict this will do two things, turn away casual RPG fans who can't stand to die; and attract hardcore and older RPG fans who have been starving for a new game like this.

I am going to predict that the best two games on the PS2 will be XG3 and FF12.

I actually quite agree with Sine here, it really seems like Sony has fucked themselves with their grand plan of using the once immensely popular Playstation brand name in an attempt to push their blu ray media. You know, if they would have left the drive out and instead pulled what they did back in 1994, things would be A LOT different now than they were then. They essentially defeated Sega with just one word "$299". I am more than just a bit amused about the complete lack of irony that caused their downfall =)

There's no way to simply "retry" a race after you've failed it, for example. I understand that this is an "open world," and this world is also my menu system, but despite what they might believe in their hearts I don't want to drive two or three scale miles to select Retry.

This would really suck for the car crash events, as I retry those things about 20-30 times, and it only takes me about 5 seconds to retry one.

I predict this will be one of those things like the Wii controller. Yeah, it looks neat and cool, but sometimes people just want to hit buttons, because that is the fastest and easiest way to do it.

CORRECT! Major complaints about the interface in reviews! Go buy Burnout: Revenge instead! +5 points to me, since I'm the one awarding them!

I predict Blizzard's going to regret making this when they find out it's going to cannbalize their own population in WoW, since WoW is basically Diablo 3 that you have to pay a monthly fee for the vast majority of the players. That is unless Diablo 3 requires a monthly subscritpion fee too.

What I was saying to which Kupek replied to: I think Sony WILL drop the price earlier than they "want" (well, they NEVER want to) 'cause of the 360 drop.
