  • Bionic Commando Rearmed: does PSN version have Remote Play

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Can anyone tell me anything or find anything on the Remote Play feature for Bionic Commando Rearmed for the PS3? I can even find people properly explaining how it works. I just read the one article where they said "yep, it'll have Remote Play" and nothing since.

Essentially, I'll grab the 360 version unless I can d'load the PSN version and play it on my PSP. Making the game portable will make me wait until I get a PS3.

remote play is just like using your psp as the screen and controller for your ps3. You can play PS1 games with it, and some PSN games (pixeljunk monsters). It is terrible and laggy however, I do not recommend. The only playable games are PS1 RPGs that are turnbased and not on any sort of active time battle system since there is a noticeable lag between your input and the action.

Is crappy, but cool idea.

Yeah, some of those jumps are split-second timing. Can't tell you how many times I died trying to get some of the secret areas.

Ah, k. I thought it's like d'loading a copy to the PSP and playin' it all you want. If that's the case, I'll just wait 'til I have a free weekend and I'll grab it for the 360 and beat it.

Man, some of the challenges are pretty hard in BC:RA. The game itself wasn't too bad, made it to the Albatross level in just under 5 hours. But we still have to beat that one.

In a way, it's almost TOO faithful a remake. The trucks in between the areas is pretty much just a waste of time and it's far too easy to go to the wrong area. But it's still a very fun game and very well done for a remake.

It was well priced, too. $15 for this would have felt a little too expensive.
