According to the article, SWG is going to keep going on its own.

The universe is big enough to support the two franchises, paricularly when you consider the KOTORMMORPG is set 3600 years before the flicks. Completely different timelines. If this one works out, I think it's only a matter of time before we see a complimentary MMO set during the timelines of the flicks
