I'm a huge Seinfeld fan, but haven't watched this show. I did notice that it is an extremely well received show, scoring VERY high with critics. Has anyone here seen it, and if so, what is your opinion of it? I am strongly considering buying the DVD collection.

I loves it, but it always makes me feel really awkward watching it. His decision making skills are hilarious and embarrassing for all involved.

I love that show. I need to get some of it on DVD. It's like a real-life Seinfeld really. Larry David is hilarious.

I've only seen snippets of it here and there but a cuz and friend who loved Seinfeld really like the show. It's supposed to be hilarious

I loved Seinfeld, but I never really got into digging Curb your Enthusiasm.

I suppose I should just sit and watch more than a few episodes, but it just never did anything for me.

Is it like Seinfeld where any season is an alright starting point, or like those non-Seinfeld shows where it is best to start at the beginning?

Better than Seinfeld. You don't HAVE to start from the beginning, but I do recommend it.

there are some things that are referenced back to. There is certainly a continuing plot. Though not anything super serious, it is basically there just for referencing back to awkward things Larry David has done or situations he has been in previously. Watching it from the start is recommended.

Cool, I'll start with the first season, sounds like I'm hearing almost only good things about the show.

I tried to watch it, and even watched like 2 or 3 seasons. But the guy is such a fucking moron and his own worst enemy, and I know its the premise of the show, but christ I could not stand it.

Sick? Why? Just because they can't actually decided on her sexuality. She's female. The whole transvestite thing is just something tacked on for shock value.

If I said Scarlett Johansson was a guy, would you suddenly not ogle over pictures of her?

Also, Hugo will forever be the most badass character in the Street Fighter series. Alex might be a close 2nd, because YOU CAN'T ESCAPE!
