Oh, the guy's working on a new Wii rhythm game too. You may actually have to take back the Wii from your parents for a bit.....if you can live with yourself for doing so that is :-)

Rez is a really good game, and most already know my opinion of it. I still need to complete all of the achievements for it.

E4 is okay. I found it to be a neat game at first, but when you actually understand how to get higher scores on it, it becomes really repetitive, since you find yourself in an unrisky pattern to get there. Also, hearing the same song 500 times can even take your most favorite song in the world into something you never want to hear again. Really ruined some good songs for me.

I've played Luminus, but I wish I played more. I might even have bought this game on XBL, but I'm not sure if I went anywhere with it.

I have lumines and lumines 2 on the psp. I think it's really at home on a portable device since it's a pretty great game to pick up and play, and not a big time investment. Well, unless you want to go for mega-high scores.

I would agree with Bov. I have Lumines and its perfect for a portable since you can really get lost in the music with headphones on. Plus, a handheld is perfect for puzzle games where you can focus, but its ok to pause when interrupted unlike 'story' games.

maybe I'm missing something....

But why is Rez a good game... its not very hard, complicated, or long....

Well, I really liked the music, so I guess you have to like the music to like the game. But, it's really cool that the music syncs with the game the way it does. Other games have started to imitate that (AudioSurf, for example), but nothing beats the original.

Getting to the last boss was somewhat hard, but doable after you know how. I also like how you can look at replays of the top scores, so that you can figure out the best way to try to beat them.

It's a pretty fun on-rails shooter, albiet short, and it's really neat how your shots create the music in the game.

It' s not hard...on the easier levels of difficulty. But it does get a lot tougher later. And in these types of games, it's trying to get the high score that's the challenge
