It's been like that for quite a few years... they actually have people whose job it is to shove them in like that. Think in some cases they have a shovel-type device to help...

So there's your alternative to traffic jams-- being packed in a subway like a sardine. I can't believe there aren't deaths related to this.

My ex viewed a similar video and she said this is how it is over there. They also have specific cars just for women so they don't get groped while trying to board or while getting on the train.
