Your 800 points gets you:

-A gauss rifle (energy weapon, pretty powerful)
-A new sword (high attack, shock effect similar to Shishkebab)
-A set of TB-51 power armor (highest DR of any armor, also finishes the "You Gotta Shoot 'Em In The Head" quest if it is open)
-Chinese stealth armor (decent DR, +15 stealth)
-Achievement points

-Bunch of mines and nades, missile launchers... nothing special

I didn't take notice of how long I spent on this add-on. Probably about three hours. Worth the money only if you love Fallout so much you want to marry it and can't get enough. Otherwise, I'd advise waiting to see how the other two DLC add-ons turn out.

Or you can just sell your current copy of Fallout 3 that you've beaten for $35 and get the Game of the Year edition for $40 when it comes out this Xmas and includes all of the expansions.

Only you would think waiting 9-12 months for additional content in a game you enjoy is worth save $15 bucks...

You shoulda been born jewish.

PS - My thoughts echo Blotus'. Operation Anchorage is decidedly "Meh".

A lot more than $15. You'll get the other two expansions that are coming too.

I don't see it being as cheap as $40, not if they're going to add content to it. Even then it's still ridiculous... Zeus how come then you don't buy all your games 1-2 years later used out of the bargain bin? You'd save TONS then!

I usually get my games used unless I can get them for half price or less new or I feel I'm not going to be able to find them used (like a lot of the PS2 games now). So why wait for RE5: Collector's Edition used for a year or so at a price of $40 +tax (it's listed at $100+ tax new up here) and missing most of the bonus stuff when I can get it for that price new now? I pay for nothing new unless I get it for a deal or it's gonna be rare as hell (like Devil Summoner 2 on PS2 that's coming in a few weeks).

It's not ridiculous if you're willing to wait for the game. You don't HAVE to play it NOW. What I said above is that Fallout 3 is a game that's been out for a while and you've likely already beaten it. If that's the case and can wait to play the expansions that are coming out, sell your copy that you have now and just get the GotY Edition that Bethesda releases for all their games this Xmas which will have all of the expansions on it. Hell, it could even be a way to rediscover the game later and worth it if the game is just gonna sit there for ya.
