So my family knew I had been wanting to buy a new TV for awhile. Everyone gave me cash for my birthday and told me to go buy a new TV which I did. I got a pretty good deal on a 32" Sharp Aquos 720p (At the 32" size, I really couldn't tell a big enough difference to pay the premium for 1080p in that size range. This is a bedroom TV.) All the reviews sounded good on it, so I assumed it was a safe buy. I was worried about "ghosting" but I have yet to run across it. I hooked the PS3 up to it and have played several games (COD4, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Madden 2008) and everything looked good. I traded my XBox 360 in for an XBox 360 Elite (I had an old version without HDMI and a refurbished 20GB hard drive.). I played Halo 3 from start to finish and didn't have a problem. What I've noticed though is when playing Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda (It came with the Elite, heh. And I've already finished Kung Fu Panda ) is that there are tearing issues. Is this the Television or just the game? Has anyone else experienced similar issues? I haven't gotten around to hooking it up to the 60" 1080p television yet to see if it does the same thing. Its more annoying than really affecting game play. I just thought it was weird that it was only happening with those two games.
