I'm for ending the war on drugs too... but there are so many things wrong with this terrible comic I don't know where to start. Let's highlight how drugs aren't bad by giving one poor example of how they helped one person in the last century? At best these people became famous IN SPITE of their addictions (Phelps doesn't count, that's just a horribly misleading statement), not BECAUSE of them.
Most drug addicts don't go on to make great music... most drug addicts sneak into their family members rooms at night and steal everything of value to pay for their drug habit or any a hundred other horrible things for money.

When I was on Coke, I walked into a high class club and slapped the mayor's daughter in the face for a joke
While I was drunk, I stole a cop car and ran it through the front door of a hospital. Then I robbed a doctor who was knocked unconscious; he had over 90 dollars in his wallet.
When I was on acid, I apparently robbed a convenience store for another 232 dollars, 8 people were shot in the process; but since I didn't shoot anyone above the waist, I didn't intend to kill them. That's my defense in court!.
When I was on heroin I chased after a dragon for hours and hours, but I could never seem to catch it.
While on pot, I spent my 367 dollars (from before) on pizza Hut, and the delivery man beat me up because he said I didn't have enough money on me at the time.
So now I take steroids.
Then I ordered Pizza Pizza again, and used Angel Dust again so I could gain my super saiyin powers, and beat the fuck out of the pizza delivery guy in revenge for what he did before. I got 4 free pizzas and another 62 dollars.
To this day, I am still trying to catch that fucking dragon.

I tried to keep my mouth shut on this, but I can't. I suspect you don't really know very much about the subject, Tess, and are just repeating what parents/authority figures/etc. have said to you on this. I think you're afraid of the concepts involved and would rather repeat the going party line than think about the actual problem.

I meant Mozart, actually, not Bach. The guy was young and crazy, and I'm positive there's some drug use there. If not, the decadent rich life of classical composers means that drug use isn't a stretch.
