Highly recommend this game. I just played and beat it this week (at full price, dammit). Great animation and music, and the physics are amazing. The puzzles are top-notch, and like Braid, they give you just the right amount of puzzles before they introduce new elements, so the game doesn't get old and boring. Very creative and fun.

I recommend the game. I got it a while ago and it has since been lost under a pile of other games, but what I have played of it I would most certainly tell you it is good.

That's tempting. I might hop on that.

Good to see Steam is starting to offer some discounted stuff. The virtual bargain bin is the undiscovered revenue stream of the future.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna have to go for this. Good looking out on the tip. This is why I'm happy to be back.

Damn you people... I just bought it and after playing a few levels now I gotta go to bed and then work...

Now I'll be trying to figure out how to build that Tower of Goo all day... 2 meters to go and my fucking tower fell. Those time goos are useless

Me too! I started playing last night and when I went to bed all I could think about was ways of getting past the level I was on.

I love the balloon goos.

I failed tower of goo a few times, once it toppled over and the other i didnt have 25 goos left. Did beat it eventually though.... keep trying!

I love these games, it reminds me of the cutesy 2D graphics of Patapon and Loco Roco on the PSP. They look great visually, have fun sounds, interesting puzzles, yet are simple to play. TOTALLY worth 5 bucks.

But is it worth $15?

Not trying to be a prick, it's an honest question since that's the normal going rate for it

I was strongly considering downloading this one for Wii when it started getting good reviews; maybe I will consider it again. It seems like everyone likes it.

During the VGAs, there was a contest to win a downloadable game for the big 4 systems (world of goo on wii, braid on 360, something I already owned on PS3, and Audiosurf on the PC), I entered and won the world of goo. It is a solid title on the wii, I'm sure that it plays exactly like the PC version, albeit with 480p graphics.

Of course, you can only download it for the Wii, because the idea of you playing any game on a PC makes you physically sick to your stomach.

No, but I do admit, it was somewhat amusing seeing your anger at people getting a game on a system that is not your system of choice. As I just told you in another thread, you're far too concerned about what other people are buying; now it is spreading to what people buy it on.

Not angry. Just amused at the predictability of your response. And I'm not concerned on what systems other people buy, just what YOU buy.

Seek, I have a copy for the PC. To help you overcome your phobia, I will give it to you if you'd like. You can justify it this way: you can spend that extra $15 on another WiiWare or VC title :-)

Maybe he doesn't like the idea of playing a game sitting at his desk on his computer.

That's pretty much why I don't play games on the PC. Far more comfy on the couch with a controller
