Yeah. UK has shown me how much more relaxed I can be if I log in and play something for 5-10 minutes at intervals throughout the day, but TBH, it's broken and not fun as a result.

Give Eve Online a try. You can build your skills while not even logging in.

It is the game Utopia Kingdoms is based off of. I am starting on the X1 server beginning on Wednesday (North West). It's a much better game though; particularly considering UK is broken.

FreeRealms might be what you're looking for http://www.freerealms.com/

It sounds like it's your sort of standard MMORPG with a lot of minis games. You got to pay if you don't want to look like everyone else, but otherwise the game is free I think.

*sigh*

I appreciate the suggestions, guys.

Oh well. For some reason I can't find anything that gets me excited and inspired.

Maybe I should just bow to the mainstream and start playing WoW...or just concentrate on my copy of Mirror's Edge that I just picked up...

If you're going to play WoW solo, I think you're better off playing Diablo 2. It's more challenging and less time intensive that way. If you have people you actually plan on playing with, then WoW is obviously better.

I played Diablo II on Hardcore up to level 49. My heart used to beat like an autistic hummingbird, and I found myself flinching at the smallest sound when I wasn't even playing. Which isn't to say that it wasn't fun...but I'm looking for something new.

What I'd really like is some kind of 2D MMO...and one with personality. I don't want "freemium", because I hate "freemium". It's kind of like, I wish I could play Chrono Trigger only a little bit more casual and also an MMO.

And while I'm making unrealistic requests, I'd like a solar-powered quad-core system with 4GB of RAM and Poser and Vue Infinite and a magic unicorn too.
