  • Apparently, I'm STILL younger than the average gamer

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

Average gamer age is 35

I don't think we can attribute this solely to the Wii bringing in parents and grandparents and stuff. I think there's quite a bit of people from my generation and the Atari one before mine which have gotten back into the Playstation or Xbox. Basically, they started gaming and never stopped. At least that's what I think is the main driving force and not necessarily the Wii-effect since that number has been slowly rising as I get older. I seem to be 2 to 3 years younger than the average gamer ever year these results come out since I started paying attention years ago.

Nah, they are lying. There's got to be enough kiddies that are playing games, and college frat boys playing Halo.
