This strikes me as being actually really bad and genuinely illegal and immoral, not just malignant and plausibly deniable. Is he actually going to get in trouble for once?

If you've ever heard him talk, it's like you were talking to a corporation, not a person. Everything is strictly about business. There is no malice in his voice, even when talking about immoral business practices.

In a way, it's a textbook definition of a sociopath.
