Curious to see how our collective caffeinism breaks down.
By Iced Tea, do you mean sweetened or unsweetened? I always get caught when I head down to the US and forget to ask for sweetened Iced Tea at least once. I then get just cold tea and it's horrible.Seraphina wrote:I live in Kentucky. I drink iced tea.. a LOT. It SUCKS not being able to drink caffeine when pregnant, decaf tea just isn't as good, and you cant get it at any restaurants.
Depends on how sweet it is. McDonald's Sweet Tea, for example, will destroy worlds with the amount of HFCS in it. It's fucking garbage. The best sweet tea is the one with just the right amount of sweetener in it (and with real sugar, dammit).Flip wrote:Aw, i like unsweetened iced tea. Maybe its an acquired taste, but its super refreshing. I can feel sweet tea rot my teeth the instant it hits.
Maybe in the northern states unsweetened tea is the norm, but in the southern states it's almost law to have sweet tea!Tupac Seekur wrote:Yeah, Canadian Ice Tea is similar to Kool-ade; it's a drink crystal. In the US I have been caught a few times before too.... It's fucking cold regular tea =P
In Canada, you can't even order unsweetened Iced Tea, it just doesn't exist....for good reason.Seraphina wrote:Maybe in the northern states unsweetened tea is the norm, but in the southern states it's almost law to have sweet tea!Tupac Seekur wrote:Yeah, Canadian Ice Tea is similar to Kool-ade; it's a drink crystal. Editing mistake... in MY favor!Blotus wrote:Yeah, if you order iced tea here you'll get Nestea or Lipton Brisk.
