I drink soda (more than I should), but even that I am trying to remove totally from my diet. Other than that, I don't really drink caffeine anymore.

I limit myself to one medium or two small (if it's a rough morning, then another in the afternoon) cup of coffee a day. I prefer to have coffee after lunch.

I have removed caffeine out of my diet. I only drink water. Occasionally, I might have a tea or coke or Mt. Dew if I haven't had enough sleep, but for the most part, I stick with water now.

I have a coffee in the AM and green tea in the afternoon... i'm torn which to choose!!!

I try not to buy soda for home, but i like getting it while out at dinner. I feel like its just as much a treat as the dinner and i end up pounding a lot of glasses. I know its a weakness which is why i dont buy it for the house.

I voted tea. I drink it regularly. I also drink a lot of energy/health drinks that are high in caffeine. My taste buds prevent me from drinking coffee, otherwise I would drink it.

Earl Grey is my favourite tea.... That was long before I became a TNG fan =P

I'm the cola vote. I stopped drinking soda for awhile - stuff like Coke has too much caffeine for me at this point, and it's full of terrible crap too, which is probably why I feel like shit when I drink it now - but I recently had some cola with low caffeine content and real cane sugar, and I remembered why I love a genuine, honest cola (which also actually has some nutritional value). Modern Coke or whatnot is crap, though I did try Pepsi Natural recently and I really liked it, though it's too sweet. If cola is made with real sugar and kola nut extract instead of the mass-produced crap it's made with these days, it's actually a good beverage. Not full of antioxidants like the others - I believe - but the taste makes me happy and energized, and with real colas I don't get crazy comedown, so I think there's benefit there.

I live in Kentucky. I drink iced tea.. a LOT. It SUCKS not being able to drink caffeine when pregnant, decaf tea just isn't as good, and you cant get it at any restaurants.

By Iced Tea, do you mean sweetened or unsweetened? I always get caught when I head down to the US and forget to ask for sweetened Iced Tea at least once. I then get just cold tea and it's horrible.

Unsweetened tea is blasphemy! The only reason it should be served to anyone is so they can add Splenda!

Yeah, Canadian Ice Tea is similar to Kool-ade; it's a drink crystal. In the US I have been caught a few times before too.... It's fucking cold regular tea =P

Aw, i like unsweetened iced tea. Maybe its an acquired taste, but its super refreshing. I can feel sweet tea rot my teeth the instant it hits.

Depends on how sweet it is. McDonald's Sweet Tea, for example, will destroy worlds with the amount of HFCS in it. It's fucking garbage. The best sweet tea is the one with just the right amount of sweetener in it (and with real sugar, dammit).

Depending on the restaurant, I may order half and half.

Maybe in the northern states unsweetened tea is the norm, but in the southern states it's almost law to have sweet tea!

In Canada, you can't even order unsweetened Iced Tea, it just doesn't exist....for good reason.

Caffeine is a fairly healthy thing too. It increases metabolism and improves mental alertness. It is also effective in the prevention of alzeimers and other mental illnesses that effect the elderly.

The downsides are addictiveness (I don't actually believe this), higher blood pressure, and liver damage if usage is high enough (I have only ever heard of this happening to someone who used it in solid form).
