Don't really make many threads here. Let alone even in Daily Stuph. But yee Gods. You would think a town in the mountains would know how to deal with an ice rain. Main street was actually so icey that I had to call home to my parents, while drunk, for emotional support whilst walking home. I favored falling on my right side so that if hell came to hell I would be able to limp home. Hell came to hell.

I've looked at weather elsewhere. I hope all of you, especially Sine and Sera, where I expect this kind of weather in the states hits the shittiest are doing better. With the bruises and scratches I got in less than a mile, especially.

I'm also putting this here in case Kupek checks the forum before going out. I almost went up the wooden stairs to our townhouse on my hands in knees I was so afraid at that point. Imagine me making the face in my avatar.

It thunderstormed here in Saint Louis all night last night. I was afraid my sump-pump wasn't going to be able to keep up since we were having terrential downpours that would last for 15-20 minutes at a time. The lightning was spectacular.

Dude, I came home earlier than you, but there were some tricky spots. I was watching the fights at someone's house, and when we went to leave, we could see the steps down to the sidewalk were icey, so we all avoided those. But the first guy down went feet-above-head when he touched the sidewalk, which was also all ice. I walked to my car looking like a surfer, not trusting any ground.

In my car, I hit a lot of ice right out of the parking lot, and had there been another car in the street, we would have collided. I was merely suggesting to my car where to go. I saw more black ice on the way home, but never lost control. Luckily I knew to look for ice in the parking lot.

Last night was the extremely dangerous situation where it's hovering right around freezing. It's not cold enough to freeze the rain when it's falling, but it will freeze once it's been on the ground.

Us? We're fine. Temp has been in the 40s all day. Some rain last night, but I don't know if we had any ice. We stayed in all day watching movies today :D

It's still a bit too cold over here in California for me to remove my sweater, but I do plan to be in a T-shirt by afternoon, most likely.

You crazy kids enjoy the weather now.
