I played the demo yesterday, and it's sorta like that Beavis and Butthead episode where they are watching this TLC video with one of the chicks in a bathtub, and the dialog goes like this:

Butthead: "Yes! This is awesome! I think she's going to get naked!"
Beavis: "Butthead, you moron. We've already seen this video, and she doesn't get naked."
Butthead: "But, I think this time, she's going to get all crazy and then get naked."
Beavis: "It's the same video. She didn't get naked last time, she won't get naked this time, and if we watch it again, she's still not going to get naked."

(Sorry, tried hard to actually find of a clip of that scene.)

Anyway, the gameplay was really good, much like DMC4, so I bought it today. Did the main guy from DMC jump ship and join their team? Because it looks like a LOT was borrowed from DMC.

Yeah Hideki Kamiya was the director of the first Devil May Cry game, he said he wasn't happy that Capcom didn't try to innovate with the franchise so he made Bayonetta as a response.
