Holy moly! The put plants v. zombies on the app store a couple weeks ago for $3 and it was pretty much the greatest moment of my life. Not only is it a tremendous deal, but it has all the content of the regular sized version! The touch interface also works really well, I may even say it works better than using a mouse (because it works better than using a mouse).
Also, Final Fantasy 1 and 2 were released today and that is pretty great. I'm grabbing #1 as I am typing, but the pricing is not as supafantastic as PvZ. $9 a pop is not a deal. I have known deals for a long time, and been acquaintances with other sorts of bargains, so I can fully recognize when something is not one of those. This is not one of those. If you were to look at supply and demand, there is a million different ways to get final fantasy 1 and 2, and I can't imagine the demand for either of these exceeds PvZ, so it's price is too high. As an economizer (and just plain miser... But not Zeus-level) I would have to say this pricing is not so good.

there are a million games and apps on this app store, but there is about 1% good stuff in there.
