iPad - got one

Not a bad piece of hardware for the price. I doubt I'll be very productive with one of these; but it is an excellent web surfing device. What really shocked me was how good the touch screen is at this size. A lot of apps are a lot easier to play with it; though they appear a little blurry. As a web-browsing device, far superior to a net-book. Games using virtual d-pads suffer though due to placement.

I can TOTALLY see a lot of clumsy people breaking the glass screen on these =P

For a moment there I was going to chastise you for paying so much for an oversized Touch until I realized I've got a very expensive Macbook Pro on the way.

Well, it wasn't really expensive even with the shipping; especially when you consider the high resale value of mac products. While it has many of the same functions as a touch, it's more in the realm of a netbook. Though I think I will use the iPad more for surfing/apps, and the netbook more as a word processor machine.

Ah, I did miss that one =)

I wasn't thinking about the iPhone 4/Gizmodo thing (the guy's house got raided by the cops), rather I thought you were pulling a Zeus and listing some $X000 number about Carrier Smart Phone service as being part of the price of the iPhone.

I wish the PSP had a better browser and they should invest in getting a faster one working. That would essentially eliminate my need for a tablet/netbook... which im not sure is really needed anyways. But, lets face it, the internet is a huge part of our lives now and i do find myself looking up stuff on my phone all the time, but it isnt really that fast.
