See, now you understand why I'm such a cheap prick. I have way too many mouths to feed and the hydra just keeps growing more heads all the time :-)

Seraph, I'll get pics up soon once I get them off my mom and sis.

Yours will be the world's first to be diapered entirely in pilfered Xbox Live 1-month cards.

Sad part is, I told her it was fine before but her infamous impatience overtook her and she over-reacted. Glad I was vindicated the second time around. It was certainly not planned that early, we had barely started trying

And no, Barret, we're debating a 4th. Not sure yet but at my work, I can get 9 months off with full pay if I have another child. Honestly, that's almost enough incentive on its own right there.

Is that with each child, or when you have a 4th?

Any other children I may have. Now that I'm a government lackey, I fall under their top-up policies. Up here, the man or woman can get off of work for 1 year and get 55% of their salary up to a maximum (I think it's about $480 or so per week). Well, the government tops you up to something like 93% of your salary over and above what you get from EI (our maternity benefits are part of our employment insurance benefits since EI makes far more money than it gives away). Add back the pension and union payments that generally come off of your pay and you actually end up with the same or more take home than you would if you were working. Then you just have to catch back up to your pension (if you choose) after you come back since technically it wasn't pensionable time so you can't contribute while you're off even if you want to. Our pension is absolutely incredible so I would be like nearly everyone else and would pay it back to retire 9 months earlier.

It's a pretty sweet deal, I'm seriously debating it :-)
