Well, it's a combination between the media bending, moulding, and blowing celebrity gossip way out of proportion, a judgemental audience to feed gossip to, and the fact that Mel Gibson has been having a lot of emotional issues since his divorce 4 or 5 years ago.

While I don't have the utmost faith in Judochristianity, Scientology is a dangerous cult, through and through. It brainwashes people (literally), steals thousands of dollars from each of its members, and many members have alienated their families or committed suicide.

Both are slander. Yours is obviously meant to incite a negative reaction towards a group of people. My point is that one of the major reason this is even an issue is because of an audience who loves to be judgmental (and hypocritical in your case; particularly since you just in your last post made the exact same statement, except overing a wider range of people) Otherwise this wouldn't be an issue.

Criticizing an institution is not slander. You do it all the time. You seem to refuse to acknowledge that there is a difference between institutions and those that follow/are a part of/belong to those institutions.
