Saw a thread where a guy was claiming 2 to 1 odds bet with any poster that the Heat will win at least 75 games. Now obviously that'd be a bad deal but I'm sure somewhere out there there has to be a place you can bet without Heat will win 72 or more games, but a quick search on Google didn't show up any actual numbers (plenty of discussion on it). I'm curious what odds people give Heat to win over 72 games. I'd have to say it has to be more than 100 to 1 since usually even teams with awesome starts have less than 1% chance to win 72 or more on ESPN's simulator, and while the simulator is probably just NBA Live you can see from the results that no team has come remotely close to hitting 72.

During the NBA Finals, there was a section on the proposition bets for the Finals. One was that 20 to 1 that Jack Nichelson gets a technical (him not getting a tech was not something you can bet on), so there is certainly a lot of weird things you can bet on!

What's impressive with the Heat now is the other guys they've been able to sign. You've got Iglauskas as the centre with Magloire as the backup with Anthony, House just signed to play backup at point guard along with Arroyo, Haslem and Juwan Howard will make a great threesome with Bosh at forward, and you've got Miller as the crazy 3-point threat along with House. It's lookin' like a pretty balanced team.

Most online sites have similar lines. I think bodog lets you look at odds without having to be a member or something.

The news paper has the football odds usually. I use a website called centsports.com. It is fun but I only play when football and hockey are on.
