Yeah, they never ever stand up and say "hey, that American had a good idea, maybe we should use it". Look at all the flak Kojima and Inafune got for even suggesting the Americans could possibly have had better ideas than the locals

If the publisher actually had money it'd still be alive today. Square-enix hasn't had a single monthly charge for FF14 but they can clearly afford to sink money in, especially since it's a FF game.

Square-enix reminds me of Sony a lot with their business decisions. I usually like both company's products, but they make the strangest and boneheaded moves at time, that im frequently baffled how they stay in business. Blizzard and Apple are like the polar opposites.

It is really my hope that Square stops sinking resources into these types of games. Also that they start making real Final Fantasy games again.

Unless they do something that's never been done it'll either take up microtransactions or utterly fail.

The best suggestion I've seen is shut the game down for a few month and relaunch it as FF15.
