Mine's been perfect. I'm done 9 of the 21 cases and not one issue with freezing or anything else. And I have an older PS3, the Motorstorm 80GB edition that was software backwards compatible. Is yours older than that one?Andrew, Killer Bee wrote:It's been a big issue for Fea and I. If I'd known better I would have waited for a patch at least.
We're playing on a PS3 slim and it crashes at least a couple of times per playing session.Zeus wrote:Mine's been perfect. I'm done 9 of the 21 cases and not one issue with freezing or anything else. I'd try it at a friend's PS3 first, just to rule out some weird issue with your particular manufacturing modelAndrew, Killer Bee wrote:Yep! I might try exchanging the disc.
Maybe, but I'd try it just for the sake of it. Gotta at least rule it outShrinweck wrote:If it was a problem with the model the issue would likely be widely detailed by now. It's not like his is particularly obscure or something.
I also have this issue. The PS3 is usually the quieter of my two consoles (360), but not with LA Noire playing.Julius Seeker wrote:As much as I love the game, I have noticed that my PS3 heats up like an oven when I play it.
Are you using a slim as well? I likely have one of the oldest PS3s here and I sit about 7 feet with full sight of the PS3 and I can't hear it at all when I'm playing. Maybe it's an issue with the cheaper components in the slim model? (don't think that large price drop don't come with some "cost reduction" in production)Blotus wrote:I also have this issue.
