Not sure how this is going to help/hurt, but it looks they're going basically reboot all of their comic franchise and re-starting all the numbers to #1 in August and September. This is going to start with Justice League and continue with all of the rest, including Superman and Batman

Not sure what I think of this, whether I like it or not. It COULD be good, maybe breath life into some stagnant comic lines. But it could also scream of desperation to try and resurrect a dying media venture for the company. I'm interested to see how it turns out.

I still wonder why they don't have comics online at this point.

It's a pain in the ass to run into a news stand looking for a new issue of whatever, or having to subscribe to 20 different comics every 6-12 months.

Marvel has some sort of online subscription thing that you can access for their comics. Pretty sure it has the newest stuff. If you got the MvC3 Collector's, you get one free month of access

um. All DC's books are going to be online. Almost all of the stuff coming out now is available on ComiXology.
This is going to be a hilariously failure though> And by hilarious....I mean it's fucking insulting shit. And this is coming from someone who actually thinks DC needed a hard reboot of it's universe. But you have a few problems. One: Some continuity remains while some is deleted. I could see this being a barrier to new readers and to old. Do I have to know about No Mans Land or to have read X book? Or is that wiped? Did Killing Joke Happen? I'm guessing no considering your crippled hero is up and swinging around rooftops now. Which is just fucking stupid. But the biggest issue. Is that everything is being redesigned by Jiim Lee and he shouldn't be allowed to design anything. I mean ehat I've seen thus far is some of the most horrifically designed costumes I have ever seen....

Heh, Jim Lee... haven't heard that name in like 10-15 years. He's still around? I guess Image isn't making the bank they used to, huh?

Jim Lee's been involved in tons of stuff for the last 10-15 years. Wildstorm got bought by DC foreeeeeever ago so he has ties to them now.

An example of stuff he's been involved in...in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City the characters were both designed by him/his studio. He was also very involved in DCU: Online. I think he does more behind the scenes stuff now and less actual penciling of books.
