Woohoo! Tonight's episode is titled "A Golden Crown". We all know what that means.
And on the 8th day, God invented the Torrents, thereby greatly increasing the entertainment quality of all his subjects :-)Shellie wrote:Ugh, no access to HBOGo for me.
For those of us who haven't read the books, it's nearly impossible to get a good chunk of the depth with the secondary characters. I had a bud of mine explain to me all the background stuff during the first ep and there was absolutely no way I could have known even half of the extra stuff. It's really for the fans of the books, not for the newcomers.Flip wrote:I honestly thought they would nix trying to explain the finer minor character details like the hound and the mountain's brotherly non-love and how Theon is a only a ward at Winterfell, etc. As a fan, i'm impressed they are including almost everything in the books in the series, but i can sure understand the confusion it would cause. There is a lot going on.
All 90 seconds of it?Eric wrote:Ros is being given so much air time
That's silly. They're just using her as a way to give background information. They've used her for Tyrion, Theon, and, based on the previews, Littlefinger. Whores are something all of them have in common. hahaEric wrote:A friend of mine is mad that Ros is being given so much air time even though she isn't in the books apparently. ;P
Random sellsword is a bit much. Bronn's a pretty popular character. Or was it the night watch comment that irritated you? :pFlip wrote:The best non-reader comment ive heard so far was last night from a friend who told me his favorite part so far was the scene where the guy from the nights watch volunteers to champion for Tyrion. Guh. The guy is just a random sellsword, but it wasnt worth explaining in a loud bar so i let it slide and dont think that detail really matters too much.
Absolutely hilarious! ..and kinda heart-warming at the same time lol
lol...Shrinweck wrote:Well if season one was any evidence the effects in question will never need to be paid for because they'll only be referenced in conversations.
