I am actually a little surprised. I thought this happened a long time ago considering New York is a very liberal city. I recall a Scienfeld Episode where Elaine was the best man at a lesbian wedding.

Been legal in Ontario for what, 8 years?

I've never seen what the big deal is. Gay people wanna get married, let them. Their lives, their choice. It's not like it makes a difference in my life and it's not like they're not going to live together or anything. Let's make this whole "separation of state and church" really mean something finally after all these years of pretending it does.
