  • Sonic Generations gives me nerd chills.

  • Because playing them is not enough, we have to bitch about them daily, too. We had a Gameplay forum, but it got replaced by GameFAQs.

This game leaked yesterday, and the demo absolutely doesn't do it justice at all. It's really, really damn good. I wish I could be there to watch all of your faces light up when you start to play around with the whole game. I immediately went and paid for it on Steam ($30?! I'd pay $60, no questions.)

They FINALLY did it. I am so happy to be a Sonic fan.

Yeah, but I wanted to buy it to show my support...I just didn't want to buy it on 360.

So, I've already got it burned for 360 and I'll play it on there until the PC release day. :)

I buy every game that I spend a reasonable amount of time with. I just might not buy it on the platform for which I originally played it. :P

For example, I've bought Skyrim on Steam already, but it's totally gonna leak for 360 a week early, and that's probably where I'll play my first playthrough.

If I was a publisher releasing multiplatform games on Steam, I would ask Valve to go ahead and release the game on Steam once it leaked for other platforms. I see no good reason why paying customers should have to wait longer to play a game because they want to stay legitimate.

Hah, the industry standards are already set by criminals. Why not at least make it a little better for the non-criminals?

I've never really liked the Sonics as a kiddo. Fast was fun for about a level... but then I wanted to slow the pace down to make sure i get all the rings and explore all the areas that look like hidden levels, secrets, etc. The controls were never as precise as Mario or the Nintendo platformers.

Yeah, they've never really been about exploring every nook and cranny. I think that's what I like about them...I am that way with every other game. It's refreshing to have a series that discourages that.

So I've sunk a good several hours into it so far and all I have to say is I'm LOVING it! I rented it out of a redbox at first just to try it out and was so impressed I went out and bought it today! Can't wait to see how it keeps going!
