And now for some balance: Another one of Michael Moore's lies that most of us probably haven't heard about. (Please note that I am NOT endorsing the neoconservative views of the Weekly Standard; I just enjoyed the article.)</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I'll be going through Stupid White Men this week, I'll look for it. Incidentally, Downsize this had a couple of chapters where his bias is the only thing in the chapter, but overall, the book was intresting. Regardless of his bias (I don't necessarily agree), he makes good points</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Ah, yes, the real-life oxymoron. You see, they have to be "neo"conservatives in order to change their beliefs to stay with the times because their beliefs are outdated. It's a vicious cycle, kinda like the way religion keeps reinventing itself</div>

<div style='font: 10pt Arial; text-align: left; '>The term historically refers to a group of former Cold War liberals who gravitated rightward in the 1960s and 1970s, hence the term "new" conservative. Lots of good books have been written about neoconservatism, but if you want an easy-to-read primer, try E.J. Dionne's "Why Americans Hate Politics."</div>

To take irony to a new level, I'll directly quote the speech: "Those who are hostile toward us will lie in wait to seize on a soundbite out of context, ever searching for an embarrassing moment to ridicule us." Of course, this paragraph, among others was taken out of the speech, in order to "seize on a soundbite out of context, ever searching for an embarrassing moment to ridicule" them.</div>
