  • Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage across entire US

Vox:
The Supreme Court's decision means marriage equality is now the law of the land in the entire United States. But whether states allow same-sex couples to marry immediately or days or weeks from now will depend on the actions of local and state officials, who could delay the final effect of the decision for a few days or weeks.
I wasn't expecting that. Admittedly, I wasn't really following it as much as the Obamacare decision. This may have been due to personal reasons: I buy health insurance on healthcare.gov but wasn't planning on getting gay-married any time soon. Thoughts?

(In all honesty, I'm glad SCOTUS upheld the right to be different, I do think Kreider's statement is funny though.)

My county has supposedly been working for several weeks to get ready for the expected influx of gay marriages. I would imagine the overwhelming majority of openly gay couples live in my county to begin with, so that's good to hear.
